Kamyar Shayan

Kamyar Shayan joined the firm in 2009. His practice focuses primarily on real-estate, insurance, and business litigation.

Mr. Shayan began his legal career as a research clerk for the honorable Alexander Williams at Los Angeles Superior Court. Mr. Shayan then worked as a litigator with the firm of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker in Los Angeles for 5 years where he focused his practice on the defense of professional liability, products liability, general liability and significant personal injury cases. Prior to that, Mr. shayan was an associate at the firm of LaFollette, Johnson, DeHass, Fesler, & Ames in Los Angeles where he practiced as a medical malpractice litigator, specializing in the defense of physicians, nurses, hospitals, and HMOs.

Mr. Shayan has tried a number of cases in the California Superior Courts as well as before FINRA arbitrators. Mr. Shayan is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California.

Mr. Shayan was Born in Tehran, Iran in 1975 and is currently residing with his wife Lilly Shayan in Beverly Hills. Mr. Shayan attending high school in Hamburg, Germany and received a B.A. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1998. In 2003 Mr. Shayan recieved a juris doctorate degree from Loyola Law School in Los angeles.
